Porsche Design celebrates 50th anniversary of Turbo emmergency 911 with new watches








A special edition vehicle is also unveiled.



Certainly not one to miss a bash, Porsche Design is paying attention to the 50th anniversary on the iconic Turbo 911 having two limited edition designer watches, as well as the 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary car - a new tribute to the incomparable unique model.



Typically the Turbo 911 debuted within the Paris Motor Show with 1974 and quickly evolved into one of the most iconic vehicles connected with its era. Generate in Porsche’s own work spaces in Switzerland, the watch attributes an ultra-light titanium scenario and is equipped with a Porsche Design WERK 01. 250 movement, a Porsche automobile leather strap and a hustleing rotor inspired by the 50th anniversary wheel of the emmergency 911 Turbo. Limited to 1, 974 pieces, each individually by using numbers to match its corresponding unit, the watch is priced at $12, 553.



While the secondly Porsche Turbo 911 observe is available to everyone, it can be limited to 500 pieces. Often the Chronograph 1 - half a century 911 Turbo Edition draws on the original Chronograph I, that is released in 1972 and was the initial all-black watch in history, blending sportiness, precision and boundless style.



Crafted from black-coated ultra-light titanium along with a seven-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal clear case back, the watch is definitely powered by the Porsche Style and design WERK 01. 240 mobility. The watch features the cultural Porsche logo from the 1972s on its dial, cementing its connection to the original Turbo 911.



Seeing that standard, the Chronograph just one - 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition comes with a beige set strap and black Velcro (a nod to the iron beige paintwork of the initially Turbo 911), but also provides a titanium bracelet.
